We’ve been the same five musicians for over 13 years — friends who grew up together, built a band together, and have been performing side by side ever since. That consistency is rare, and it’s what makes us one of the most trusted bands on the East Coast.
Silver Bullets began in 2012, when founding members Matt, Zack, Dan, and Hessler — lifelong friends and bandmates since high school — found themselves in a Richmond recording studio tossing around the idea of starting a cover band. It clicked instantly. From the beginning, this wasn’t just another gigging project — it was about creating something lasting. A few years later, fate stepped in when Zack spotted Dorrall leading worship at a church service and invited him to join as our lead singer. The lineup was complete, and it hasn’t changed since.
Together, we’ve played hundreds of events across the country, from weddings and private parties to corporate galas and high-profile stages like NASCAR in front of 30,000 people. We’ve rung in the New Year at packed venues where the dance floor shook until sunrise. We’ve even shared the stage with family — like the time Dan’s dad joined him for a double-drum solo at our 10-year anniversary show.
Our roots are as diverse as our setlists: touring rock bands, praise & worship leadership, and decades of professional musicianship. We pull from every era and genre — from Aerosmith to The Weeknd, Tina Turner to Fall Out Boy — putting our own spin on every song. At heart, though, we’re a rock band, and we bring that energy to every performance.
